Bike Fitting

Why get a Bike Fit?

If you suffer from any discomfort on the bike, such as saddle soreness, knee and back pain or numb hands and feet a bike fit may be of benefit to you. Our experienced bike fitters can help address the causes of such issues and provide solutions through changes to your position.

If you are seeking performance gains, an adaptation to your position can enable you to be more aerodynamic and generate more power thereby making you faster.

If you are an experienced rider and have just bought a new bike you can still benefit from a bike fit. Every bike differs slightly. Geometry differences between bikes such as the stack and reach and even the seat tube angle can affect how you fit on the bike. Let us dial in your bike fit so you can maximise performance and comfort on your new bike.

Why get a bike fit from The Cycling Fix?

Our bike fitters have a combined 15 years of bike fitting experience and are riders themselves, so they have extensive personal experience of the many factor that affect rider comfort and performance.

Our fitters are up to date with all of the latest bike technology available to optimise your ride. From saddle, stem and handlebar selection to shoe, pedal and crank length selection, we take a wholistic approach to your bike fit, utilising the best bike fitting tools and products.

We use the Body Geometry fitting system in conjunction with our Retül Muve Bike.

The Body Geometry system, helps identify fit-related issues and guides us in making adjustments that are backed by scientifically backed data. Our Retül Muve Bike can mimic virtually any bike fit position and allows us to make quick, on-the-spot adjustments so you can feel the effects immediately and give feedback throughout the process.

What to expect on the day?

Our bike fitting process begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand how you ride, your cycling goals, any history of injury, and other relevant factors that might influence your position on the bike.

Next, we conduct a thorough physical assessment, looking at your mobility, flexibility, and key body measurements. This step is essential to tailor your bike position, so it supports comfort, efficiency, and endurance on the bike.

With that foundation, we move to on-the-bike analysis. Observing you while riding allows us to fine-tune your position based on real-time movement and technique.

Throughout the fitting, our experienced team will make targeted adjustments to ensure your fit is optimal. This includes areas such as saddle selection, handlebar width, stem length, footbeds, and cleat positioning—all refined to work in harmony with your body.
